Eligibility for Returns and Refunds

At Kolhapuri Spices, we are committed to delivering authentic and high-quality products. Our return and refund policy is designed to ensure transparency and customer satisfaction. Please review the following guidelines carefully:

Returns Policy

  1. Damaged Products
    Products are considered damaged if they exhibit physical or chemical harm that affects their quality, safety, or usability.

  2. Defective Products
    A product is deemed defective if it poses harm due to a design, manufacturing, or packaging defect.

Storage Conditions

Many of our spice products require specific storage conditions, as indicated on their packaging, to maintain their flavor and quality. Products not stored or used as per the provided instructions are not eligible for returns or refunds.

Minor Packaging Issues

While we ensure careful packaging, minor scratches or dents on the outer packaging do not affect the product’s quality. However, if you notice significant damage, leakage, or tampering, please refrain from using the product and contact our support team immediately.

Shelf Life

Each product is labeled with a “Best Before” or expiry date. Products with at least 20% of their shelf life remaining at the time of delivery are considered fit for use. Returns will not be accepted solely based on shelf life unless the delivered product has less than the acceptable shelf life remaining.


General Return Conditions

To qualify for a return:

  • The product must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.
  • Returns for non-perishable items must be initiated within 7 days of delivery.
  • Returns for perishable items must be initiated within 2 days of delivery.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, please contact us within the specified timelines. Once inspected, we will process a replacement.


Refund Process

Refunds are issued after the returned product passes our quality checks. Refund timelines are as follows:

  • Bank Transfer (NEFT): 1-3 business days.
  • Wallet Refunds: Instant.
  • Online Payments: 7-10 business days (depending on the bank).

Note: In case of discrepancies, additional proof such as a bank statement may be required.


Self-Shipping Returns

If you opt to self-ship the return:

  • Use a reliable courier service.
  • Share the courier receipt with us for reimbursement, ensuring it includes details such as package weight, shipment date, and destination.
